Finished reading Christopher Moore's Lamb today. I'm taking a risk here by saying this around some folks who love the book, but it's my least favorite of his novels.
That isn't to say that the book isn't good or funny. It *was* humorous, but I didn't find the jokes as cleverly crafted and sneaky as they were in the other books of his that I've read. (Practical Demonkeeping, Island of the Sequined Love Nun, A Dirty Job, and Bloodsucking Fiends, not in that order.)
Maybe the difference is that it wasn't the first of his books that I read, and the others spoiled me? I'd be interested in hearing what those who read them in a different order think of this possibility.
